Entry is by guided tour only and must be booked in advance. Numbers are limited for each visit.
From June to September: open every day from 10.00 to 13.30 and from 14.30 to 19.00.
Guided tour times
Morning: 10.15 – 11.00 – 11.45 – 12.30
Afternoon: 14.45 – 15.30 – 16.15 – 17.00 – 17.45
Weekdays: opening and guided tours by appointment only.

Free admission to all cultural sites is granted to:
- Residents of Cabras and Solanas
- Children aged 0–5
- People with disabilities and their carer
- EU tourist guides in the exercise of their professional activity (with valid licence)
- Members of ICOM
- University professors and researchers in archaeology and cultural heritage (with proof)
- Students enrolled in degree courses, postgraduate specialisation or PhD programmes related to archaeology and cultural heritage (with valid enrolment certificate)
- Freelance archaeologists (with proof)
- Journalists and photographers (with valid ID) preparing articles or reviews about the cultural sites or the area
- People engaged in study or research activities authorised by the competent Superintendency
- Honorary inspectors and conservators of the Ministry of Culture and members of ICCROM
- Archaeologists of the central and peripheral offices of the Ministry of Culture (with proof)

Getting there
Visitors can reach the Tharros Archaeological Area, the Spanish Tower of San Giovanni, and the beaches of Sinis aboard the panoramic tourist train, which departs from the square in front of the Tourist Service Centre.
It is an ideal solution for visitors with reduced mobility or those who prefer not to walk.

The Mont’e Prama Link shuttle bus will operate from June 19 to October 20, 2026.
It provides easy and direct access to the main sites of the Sinis Natural Archaeological Park. The service is integrated with the regional railway network: visitors can arrive by train from Cagliari or Elmas Airport to Oristano station and continue their journey from there using the Mont’e Prama Link.
