Cultural heritage communication and promotion<\/strong>, funded by the Enhanced Framework Programme Agreement on \u201cCultural Assets and Activities\u201d between the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, the Department for Development and Economic Cohesion and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, signed on 29 October 2014.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Concept and deliverables<br \/>\n<\/strong>To plan a strategy to <strong>promote knowledge and public enjoyment of the sculpture complex of Mont\u2019e Prama, in Sardinia<\/strong>, Italy and internationally, a <strong>steering committee<\/strong> was set up by means of an MoU on 12 December 2011 by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities, the Regional Directorate for the Cultural and Landscape Heritage of Sardinia, the Heritage Authority of the provinces of Cagliari and Oristano, the Municipality of Cabras and the Autonomous Region of Sardinia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project implementation<br \/>\n<\/strong>Ojos Design srl, Poliste, Cles Economia, ECOMM Progetti<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scientific Director<br \/>\n<\/strong>Alessandro Usai \u2013 <em>Lead Archaeologist for the Cabras area and Scientific Director of the Mont\u2019e Prama excavations, official of the Heritage Authority of Cagliari and the provinces of Oristano and South Sardinia<\/em>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;3223&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1498937947782{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text]The communication and marketing plan for\u00a0<em>The Mont\u2019e Prama sculpture complex. Communication and promotion for the enhancement of cultural heritage <\/em>&#8211; entrusted to the temporary joint venture of Poliste srl, as contractor, and Cles srl, Ojos design srl and Eccom Progetti srl as principals &#8211; was a strategic planning tool shared between the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism and the Municipality of Cabras, for the enhancement of the heritage of Mont&#8217;e Prama.<\/p>\n<p>The Plan, which was developed between 2017 and 2019, was designed as a unitary project to shine a spotlight on the Mont\u2019e Prama complex.<\/p>\n<p>In view of the need to develop a coordinated communication plan and manage the different sites involved, the museum designs under way and the many stakeholders and parties involved, the contracting regional authorities proposed a participatory process to outline a Communications Plan as a tool for coordination\u00a0between parties and actions and a\u00a0shared strategic planning tool\u00a0for promoting the heritage of Mont\u2019e Prama as a driver of local development and to raise its profile in Sardinia, Italy and worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The Communication Plan therefore included actions addressing promotion of the local area \u2013 participatory workshops and public debates (OST) with all stakeholders involved \u2013\u00a0traditional posters, booklets and the creation of this website, social accounts\u00a0and\u00a0digital narratives, all fully in line with the achievement of project targets.<\/p>\n<p>A key initial step of the communication strategy was the design of a coordinated image, set out in the Brand user guide, to give the sculpture complex a distinct visual identity and the decision to rename the statues as the Heroes of Mont\u2019e Prama, which was felt to be more correct from a scientific point of view than the commonly used \u201cGiants of Mont\u2019e Prama\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Social and educational tours, digital storytelling, national and international events, workshops for schools and visitors, publications and videos have been created to help our visitors learn more about the history of the heroes of Mont\u2019e Prama.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This content has not been translated because it relates to strictly local initiatives.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1623473322925{margin-right: 0px !important;margin-bottom: 0px !important;margin-left: 0px !important;padding-right: 0px !important;padding-left: 0px !important;background-color: #ffffff !important;}&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243; Concept and deliverables To plan a strategy to promote knowledge and public enjoyment of the sculpture complex of Mont\u2019e Prama, in Sardinia, Italy and internationally, a steering committee was set up by means of an MoU on 12 December 2011 by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities, the Regional Directorate for the Cultural and Landscape Heritage of Sardinia, the Heritage Authority of the provinces of Cagliari and Oristano, the Municipality of Cabras and the Autonomous Region of Sardinia. Communication and promotion for the enhancement of cultural heritage &#8211; entrusted to the temporary joint venture of Poliste srl, as contractor, and Cles srl, Ojos design srl and Eccom Progetti srl as principals &#8211; was a strategic planning tool shared between the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism and the Municipality of Cabras, for the enhancement of the heritage of Mont&#8217;e Prama. The Plan, which was developed between 2017 and 2019, was designed as a unitary project to shine a spotlight on the Mont\u2019e Prama complex. In view of the need to develop a coordinated communication plan and manage the different sites involved, the museum designs under way and the many stakeholders and parties involved, the contracting regional authorities proposed a participatory process to outline a Communications Plan as a tool for coordination\u00a0between parties and actions and a\u00a0shared strategic planning tool\u00a0for promoting the heritage of Mont\u2019e Prama as a driver of local development and to raise its profile in Sardinia, Italy and worldwide. The Communication Plan therefore included actions addressing promotion of the local area \u2013 participatory workshops and public debates (OST) with all stakeholders involved \u2013\u00a0traditional posters, booklets and the creation of this website, social accounts\u00a0and\u00a0digital narratives, all fully in line with the achievement of project targets. A key initial step of the communication strategy was the design of a coordinated image, set out in the Brand user guide, to give the sculpture complex a distinct visual identity and the decision to rename the statues as the Heroes of Mont\u2019e Prama, which was felt to be more correct from a scientific point of view than the commonly used \u201cGiants of Mont\u2019e Prama\u201d. Social and educational tours, digital storytelling, national and international events, workshops for schools and visitors, publications and videos have been created to help our visitors learn more about the history of the heroes of Mont\u2019e Prama.
